Invitation:

I found the wedding cake clipart on Etsy (BaBaPuff), purchased it from the store owner and they sent it to me in pdf file.

*I made several of these for Sarah's wedding and I found the stiffer tissue paper worked so much better!  It may be harder to separate... but it doesn't tear nearly as easily.  For those that were in the tins I used the smallest sized wooden dowels as the stems, spray painted them in Chelsey's colors and glued them into the center of the sphere.

Wooden card holders:

Bought the smallest round, routered-edge wooden plaques at Hobby Lobby, drilled a hole in the center, glued in a wooden dowel (whatever width and length you want), glues a spring clothes pin to the top and spray painted whatever color I thought would go well.

Crepes:

Lemon curd
Whipping cream
Strawberries with simple syrup
Blueberries
Blackberries
Raspberries
Rhubarb jam

Powdered sugar
Sliced almonds
The drink (and these are just estimates.... as I usually just splash it all in):
2 liter of Sprite
1/2 cup of vanilla syrup
Juice of 4 or 5 freshly squeezed lemons

Lake McDonald, Montana

Have I ever talked about my thing for rocks?  Have had it since I was a little girl.... loved to collect rocks and go to rock shops.  I even have a few sitting next to my bed (nothing bigger than what fits in the palm of your hand) right now that've caught my fancy the last year or so... or that someone's given me.  Like the small white one Ally gave to me from our trip to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, at the Quileute Indian Reservation beach (okay, yeah... so it was really to see 'Twilight' country, but we saw some pretty amazing scenery as well)... and then a black rock Rob found on our trip to the Oregon Coast last year. Anyway... there's this lake in Montana ... Lake McDonald ... obviously from the subject heading... and it's got shores of brightly-colored rocks.  So guess what got added to the bucket list as soon as I saw the photos?  Yep... I will go there... for the rocks.... just to see the pretty colors.
