To see the golden sun, the azure sky, To see the golden sun, the azure sky, the outstretched ocean; to walk upon the green earth, and be lord of a thousand creatures; to look down yawning precipices or over distant sunny vales; to see the world spread out under one's feet on a map; to bring the stars near; to view the smallest insects through a microscope;... to witness the change of seasons, of spring and autumn, of winter and summer; to feel hot and cold, pleasure and pain, beauty and deformity, right and wrong; to be sensible to the accidents of nature; to consider the mighty world of eye and ear; to listen to the stock-dove's notes amid the forest deep; to journey over moor and mountain; to hear the midnight sainted choir; to visit lighted halls, or the cathedral's gloom, or sit in crowded theatres and see life itself mocked; to study the works of art and refine the sense of beauty to agony;... to overlook the world as if time and nature poured their treasures at ou...

Reaching for heaven

It's kind of a surreal experience to wake up at 2:30 am to keep the washing machine going and hear the most beautiful music coming from upstairs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoG_fMbNBpM On repeat. And I stand at the bottom of the stairs and have the extraordinary experience of knowing that my little girl carries with the her the spirit of her Heavenly parents and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tonight I got to tell her how much I'll miss her.  That she is the sunshine and joy of my life.  That the time has come for me to share her with the world in a way that only she can shine.  And I can barely make it through this post.  I've had to stop several times and wander off around the house. Just a small glimpse of what it must have been like for the Father to let His children, us, go.... out of His presence to make our way and find the strength within.
